For me, photography is no-pressure creativity. Whereas with writing and acting I market the work, with photography I’m happy just to please myself. If the results find an audience, all the better.

When I began to think about blogging I didn’t want to blog about writing or acting because plenty of people were already doing that. On vacation I’d fallen in love with Paris. I became a regular visitor at Eric Tenin’s Paris Daily Photo and was inspired. I didn’t know the first thing about taking pictures but I decided to give it a try.
Pasadena Daily Photo has grown into an international meeting place where every day I post a new photo with commentary. I’m a member of City Daily Photo, a worldwide family of bloggers who share their personal take on their culture. Almost every city you can imagine is represented, from Hamburg to Hanoi, Trieste to Tampere.
