Wilma Wednesday: What Will 2018 Bring?

Wilma and the Christmas Dog

“I like hollydays,” says Wilma.

“Do you want to make a New Year’s Resolution?”

“No. I don’t want to make anything today. Let’s walk and see and smell and fight.”

“Sounds like a plan, Wilma.”

I get my jacket. As I hook her leash to her harness I ask, “Do you want to wish your friends a Happy New Year?”

“Okay. What is Happy New Ear?”

“It’s a time for hope and change. A chance to start anew and make things better.”

“Okay, Lady. But that is every day.”

Huh. I don’t remember teaching her that. I give her a treat anyway, and tell her she’s a good girl. Then I grab my keys and some poo bags, and off we go to start anew. Again.

Wilma is not only gorgeous, she is also wise. May 2018 be full of the same.
Happy new year Wilma, to you and your lovely family.

She’s educating u well isn’t she. Hmm does she ever give u a treat? Oh wait, her presence is her treat to u. 😉
She’s a old soul. The last in her to do list ‘fight’. It’s low on her list. That’s a good thing

    • Petrea - December 27, 2017 @ 17:36

She knows I don’t like fighting, but she tries to get it in there some way.

A very intelligent dog is Wilma. Nobody can keep new year resolutions anyway…just have a good time and do the best you can every day! 🙂

    • Petrea - December 27, 2017 @ 17:37

She always does her very best!

  5. William Kendall - December 27, 2017 @ 13:18

    She’s looking quite noble.

    • Petrea - December 27, 2017 @ 17:38

I have to agree, William. I think all dogs are noble by nature, as long as they don’t end up with the wrong humans.

  6. Lizzie Harding Wilkins - December 27, 2017 @ 19:28

Wilma, is definitely the right dog, with right humans.
    Or is that staff?

    • Petrea - December 29, 2017 @ 10:23

      Servants for sure.

  7. Shelley - January 1, 2018 @ 00:56
