Wilma Wednesday: What’s for Dinner?

What are we having?

“What’s for dinner?”

“You already had your dinner, Wilma.”

“I will wait for my treat.”

“You already had your treat.”

“I will wait for cheesy pills.”

“Cheesy pills come later, sweetie, right before bed.”

“Letsgotobed now, please.”

“Not yet, Wilma. We need to eat our dinner.”

“What’s for dinner?”

Wilma, the humans haven’t learned yet. Keep at it gf!😁

      She’ll never give up!

Since the time change, Watson has been trying to get supper twice – once at the old time and again at the new time! 🙂 I’m always amazed at dog’s intelligence….especially around food.

      Their tummies are like clocks.

Wilma called me the other day, not to complain but to ask a question and try to understand.

“They won’t share their dinner with me,” Wilma said. “I’ll happily share my dinner with them.”

“Well,” said I, ” their dinner is special and made for humans and it might make you sick.”

“Ah, phooey,” saith Wilma. “That’s a bunch of stuff and you know it. I know they love me but I guess they’re afraid I might like their food more than my own and that could get expensive.”

“I think you’ve got it, Wilma.”

Then she hung up. Maybe you could get her a smart phone instead of those old flip things, then we could skype. Maybe?

I’ll look into it, Lowell. I just don’t want her spending all her time watching cat videos.

Awwww, who could resist that face?

    • Petrea - November 15, 2017 @ 15:36

      Not I, apparently!

Kelly always joins us for dinner…under the table…in hopes that something will fall…

    • Petrea - November 15, 2017 @ 17:17

Isn’t that the truth? And once you’ve finished and she’s cleaned the floor of every crumb, she probably checks the kitchen, too!

Poor Wilma, she is hungry (again)
A face and a look like that can manage her to get quite a lot in life.
    She is CUTE.

    • Petrea - November 16, 2017 @ 09:49

Thanks, Gunn! She is hungry always.

    She’s a very smart cookie! x0

    • Petrea - November 17, 2017 @ 08:01

She is, though we probably shouldn’t say “cookie” where she can hear us.

    A lovely frame!

    • Petrea - November 19, 2017 @ 08:52

      Thanks, magiceye.
