Wilma Wednesday: ebooks

Wilma, Kobo, reading tablet, ebook

Wilma has downloaded some free ebooks from Smashwords. It’s Read an Ebook Week, and Smashwords is having a sale through March 11th. You can get all kinds of books, including mine, at deep discounts.

Camelot & Vine is 25% off, and Act As If is free! Go to this link, choose the book you want, then click the “buy with coupon” button. It’s easy, and they have every electronic format you could want.

“Is there a dog in the story?” Wilma asks.

“There’s a wolf-dog in Camelot & Vine.”

“I like wolf-dogs.”

I didn’t realize she knew any—

“What about the acting book?” she asks.

“Yes, I wrote about Boz in that one.”

“Will you read them to me?”

“Sure, Wilma.”

Thank goodness. It’s fine for her to have friends of her own, but if she were to start reading I’m not sure what I’d do.

It’s hard to dog-ear an epage.

I’m afraid if our pets could read we’d all be in big trouble. You’d better keep reading to Wilma so she doesn’t get any untoward ideas! 🙂

She likes stories about herself so I’ve changed a few words.

Wilma’s idea of a happy ending for a story includes belly rubs.

      You’ve got that right, William.

Maybe Wilma can read …. she would just rather sit with you while you read them to her.

Maybe so. It’s a sweet thought. She can write, and she’s a good writing partner.
