Wilma sunbathing

It’s Friday, nothing special, no big deal. For sure I’ll work, maybe run some errands.

TV? Nah. There’s nothing on.

But there’s a big party all day Saturday in Downtown LA, DC, Paris, Capetown, Melbourne, Oaxaca, Minsk, Sitka, London, Buenos Aires, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Ubud, Boise, Pasadena, and pretty much everywhere you can think of. We’ll be wearing our party hats.

Please do not say “pussy hat” around Wilma.

btw when I saw the post title, u got me a little scared.. thought Wilma found a new ‘hobby’..

    • Petrea - January 20, 2017 @ 07:18

      Nah, same old hobby.

  3. Jean Spitzer - January 20, 2017 @ 05:11

    Yes, nothing today.

    • Petrea - January 20, 2017 @ 07:19

I hope it’s relaxing and fulfilling, Jean.

You are certainly right about TV today. Not much interesting to watch unless you like horror shows.

Glad you’re going to be part of the party tomorrow! Raise as much hell as you can. I’ve talked to Wilma and asked her if a parade came by the house where she would watch it from and she said, “Woof!” She’s a smart dog!

    • Petrea - January 20, 2017 @ 12:58

I agree she’s a smart one. She likes parades, if her barking at passers-by is any indication.

Since tomorrow’s party was announced over a month ago, I’ve thought of little else. I’m excited to be a part of this historic event.

She’s so patient for photo ops!

    • Petrea - January 20, 2017 @ 12:59

Well, yes and no. If she’s busy and she doesn’t notice the camera, she’s patient. Otherwise, she doesn’t like to look at it. A camera pointed at you is just not right.

    Identity crisis

Perfect, Petrea. I am so impressed with the amazing turnout on the 21st. A worldwide event. Brilliant.

    • Petrea - January 24, 2017 @ 07:21

I’m impressed, too, Lauren. I’ll post some of my photos on Friday, but they can’t do justice to the massive, peaceful crowds that turned out in Los Angeles. Pasadena had a rally before the downtown LA march, and that was massive, too! The world joined together. A brilliant day.
