Wilma Wednesday: Tired

Wilma, sleep, stadium blanket

Shh.

We’re whispering because Wilma is very tired. Sometimes, being a good girl is exhausting. Today, Wilma mustered all her energy to exercise self-control and avoid attacking a wiener dog on the loose.

“…mustard…” says a scratchy little voice, “…wiener…”

Oops. I didn’t whisper softly enough.

Wilma seems to be getting her share of naps…and a hot dog is probably just what she needs.

I might not give her any mustard, though.

    Such a sweetie!

She’s working very hard at being a good girl!

A good girl even in tough circumstances!!! She deserves a treat!!! (But maybe not a wiener!)

We cut hot dogs into very small pieces and always have a baggie full of them when we walk. She’ll do anything for a bit of wiener, so I don’t have to give her a whole one. (She’d be tubby.)

      Thank you, Jean.

My cat hides her nose when it’s cold too!

Cute! Wilma will even hide her eyes from the lamplight at bedtime.

I find it tiring to be a good girl myself. It can be quite taxing. Especially when a chocolate bar is running loose.

      Exhausting, dahling!

I hope my wiener dog wasn’t the one on the loose!

Absolutely not! Your little ones are well supervised, and well mannered except when they’re defending you. 🙂
