Wilma Wednesday: Manners

Wilma, light, asking

“I would like to have meat loaf,” Wilma says, sitting by the kitchen door and sniffing the air.

I’m trying to teach her good manners, so I say, “‘I would like to have meat loaf please.’”

“Yes, but you can get it for yourself. I’m not allowed on the counter.”

At least she knows that much. Progress!

I love how Wilma speaks …

She does make her intentions clear.

She looks a bit zombie-ish, with blue eye shadows. Very in modern style.

Bright sun and a phone camera sometimes make interesting effects!

Very funny! Wilma does have a way with words and with you, it seems. So, did you both get meat loaf?

    • Petrea - December 7, 2016 @ 17:27

Lowell, I’m afraid Wilma didn’t get any because I put garlic in it. Bad for dogs. But she got a nice treat.

And meat loaf droppings on the floor are hard to come by…

Depends on how clumsy I am!

Hey, Wilma- I’ll get u something better than the meatloaf! I’ll be your wingman anytime

My sentiments exactly, chris! Yesterday I got her favorite dental chews. To me they smell awful, but to her they are better than meatloaf.

    Dear Aunt Wilma,
I have never made meat loaf,
Do you think Nomad is deprived?
    —-worried, in Pasadena…..

    • Petrea - December 9, 2016 @ 09:48

      Dear Worried,
Nomad has chickens. She is not deprived if you give her fresh eggs.
      —Wilma
P.S. Eggs are part of meat loaf.
