Wilma Wednesday: Photo Awp

Wilma, home, back yard, fence

“Wilma, may I take your picture?”

“I don’t care.”

“Okay, smile for the camera.”

“…..”

“Please, Wilma.”

“…..”

“Please? Why won’t you look at the camera?”

“I don’t feel right about it.”

“Oh. What’ll make you feel right?”

“You’re supposed to give me cheese.”

The girl is going to get fat if I’m not careful. For now my camera will settle for Wilma, ignoring me while she soaks in the last of the late-day sun.

Just love the way she sits!

Me too! Her asymmetry charms me.

    Gorgeous shot! What light!

Thanks, Maya. Wilma always finds the best light.

She looks quite wise and stoic.

We both agree with you about the wise part. Stoic, that’s just an act.

Hey, I discussed all this with Wilma. She said she was smiling! Sheesh!

You’re telling me she called you? I’ve been underestimating her.

I empathize with Wilma…it’s much easier behind the camera than in front of it…

There are two kinds of people: models and photographers.

How could you try to distract her when she’s on squirrel duty?

    • Petrea - December 1, 2016 @ 08:38

You’re right, you’re right! But she looked so pretty there in the sun.

Looks like her zen moment… she definitely knows how to get that little bit of sun…
Stay firm, Wilma– she’ll break and you’ll get your cheese…

      You know I did, chris.
